Adoption Overview $600

Ruffles

Meet Ruffles, a gentle and easygoing mare who has been a standout in our education programs. With her patient and kind demeanor, she does well in settings with kids and larger groups. Ruffles has been an exceptional teacher, helping both children and adults learn groundwork, basic horsemanship, horse anatomy, and more.

Though she’s pasture sound with the help of front shoes, Ruffles is available as a non-riding companion due to arthritis and mild founder. She also has Cushing’s disease, which requires daily medication, and needs careful dietary management to prevent further laminitis and maintain her condition.

If you’re looking for a great friend to any horse or human, Ruffles could be the one for you!
