Picatta

Meet Picatta! This five year old mare is ready to start school with whoever is lucky enough to take her home. She is halter broke, picking up all four feet for the farrier and is working on the basics of ground work. Picatta has a very timid personality and would do best in a home that has an experienced, assertive horseman/woman to give her the opportunity to build her confidence. She came to us unhandled but has become more willing with each training session. We have saddled Picatta and are preparing her for her first ride. While she can still be very nervous about new things, she is starting to show her personality and is becoming more thoughtful each day.
