ADOPTABLE TO a small adult or child who likes a bareback ride now and again bitless.

 

TRAINING:

Giada is easy going on the ground. She is pretty grumpy about tack and a bit, so she has been ridden in a bareback pad and bitless without an issue on trails for many miles by a child rider. She paces. She doesn't ride alone well, not because she is buddy sour, but she just doesn't have much forward to her unless following on a trail. She is very easy to catch in the field but she is a bossy gal in most herds.

She would be ideal as a buddy, for leadline or as a ground therapy horse or for a sensible rider to ride following a group. She is forward when she has a buddy in front of her. 

 

MEDICAL: She did have an eye removed but does not bother her one bit!

 

 Adoption fees may be outdated, as a horse may have moved into training, so check us on most current fee. Horses typically adopted UTD on vaccines, dental floats, farrier care and all vet needs.

 

We are looking to adopt to safe homes. 

 

A history of good horsemanship, the ability to provide sufficient care with good vet, farrier and peer references are important. If you are a first time horse owner, we will require you to board at a facility for the first year while you learn more about care. We encourage everyone to take advantage of riding lessons. 

Foal adoptions require previous, established experience with youngsters.
