Snickers is an adorable mare who spent much of her life as a beloved companion before arriving at the Center with limited formal training. She is deeply bonded with her pasture mates and clearly enjoys the comfort of their company.

Snickers would thrive in a knowledgeable home that can continue her education, reinforce clear boundaries, and help her reach her full potential. She requires careful dietary management to help prevent future episodes of laminitis and receives annual stifle injections. Snickers is maintained on daily Prascend and Equioxx to help manage her Cushing’s disease and arthritis, ensuring her comfort and quality of life.

At this time, we are not accepting adoption applications for Snickers, as our team is developing a long-term care plan to best support her ongoing needs and manage her arthritis.
