Delta

Delta is a sweet mare who came to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. This girl has charmed us with her kind demeanor and soft eyes. At 23-years-old and with age-appropriate arthritis, our vets have deemed Delta too sore to be ridden. When she isn’t working, Delta is sound. That's why we believe this sweet Quarter Horse would love a forever home where she can spend her days grazing and being doted upon or used for very light lead line riding. She stands well for grooming and enjoys the attention of humans and other horses. 

Delta would make an excellent pasture buddy for your horse at home, as she gets along with both mares and geldings. She is kind and gentle and can't wait to spend her retirement in a home full of love and attention.

Fun fact about Delta: She makes comical, expressive faces when her groomer finds an itchy spot. Everyone gets a kick out of her fun antics.
