Mendo is a stunning 4-year-old registered Thoroughbred gelding standing at an impressive 16 hands. 🌈 With his handsome chestnut coat and a single white sock, he catches the eye wherever he goes. Although Mendon didn't have the opportunity to race due to laryngeal hemiplegia, (which has since been resolved), he is now ready to embark on a new journey with a loving owner.

Health and Soundness: Mendo has anydrosis which means he does not sweat, he also has ringbone in the hind right patsern.  Mendo is looking for a low level  home where he can have light work or trail riding. His feet need consistent work meaning shoeing every 4 weeks.  He has had a thorough examination by our veterinarian and comes with xrays, ensuring his health. You can have confidence in his physical well-being as you start your adventure together.

Temperament and Compatibility: Mendo has a calm and willing disposition.  He gets along seamlessly well with other horses, displaying good social skills and adaptability. Mendo is a true team player and will bring joy to any family.

Potential and Training: While Mendo's racing career didn't materialize, his untapped potential shines through.  Mendo has the ability to excel with further training. He is a blank canvas ready to blossom under the guidance of an expereienced owner.

Mendo's adoption fee is $800. This includes his full pre-purchase exam, offering you peace of mind about his conditions.
