Patriot Drive

11 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in KY
Majestic Warrior (A. P. Indy) out of Just Fabulous by Include
Eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project's
THOROUGHBRED MAKEOVER COMPETITION!

16 plus hands. He last raced on 9/30/24 and retired sound. He is reported to not have had any injuries.

Patriot has already had some basic retraining and was being ridden by an intermediate-advanced child. He was also turned out 24/7 and did very well. He also does well in a stall part of the day. Patriot was turned out shortly after arriving to our farm and was accepted by our gelding herd and he settled in quickly. He is reported to be a very good pasture mate and will get along well with anyone. He is lovely to work with and handle, was well mannered for grooming, blanketing and walking on a lead rope.

Patriot is well mannered and quiet under saddle. He is currently sound at the walk but with joint support, he should be suited for low level flat use. He has a forward trot and a nice, paced walk. He would make a great family horse or trail horse. A gentle soul, he is good with children.

Patriot is quiet when in his stall and doesn't bother his neighbors. He is easy to work with and respectful of anyone. He stands politely for the vet and farrier. Just a lovely boy to have in your barn and life!

Patriot should be suitable for any flat discipline with joint support.
