7 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in KY
Will Take Charge (Unbridled's Song) out of Funny Valentine by A. P. Indy
Eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project's
THOROUGHBRED MAKEOVER COMPETITION!

16.1 plus hands. He last worked on 12/30/23 and has earned over $291,000! He had screws in his right front ankle, those were removed in 2024. 2 half screw remain.  We are not sure of the dates of insertion of the screws.

Charge is an friendly gelding who has adapted very well to farm life. Chickens, dogs, cats, miniature cows – everyone is his friend. He stands well for grooming and is respectful walking with his handlers. He lifts his feet well, is easy to blanket, and is polite while being tacked up. He is happy in a stall with ample hay, and does well in the pasture with his gelding buddy.

Charge does very well under saddle at the walk. He will be a wonderful trail or farm riding horse. He is comfortable in a western saddle.

Charger stood well for the vet and farrier.

He was castrated on 2/8/24.
