Flynn came to Easy R in the fall of 2019. He had been tied to a trailer house and abandoned, so law enforcement took custody of him. His feet were grotesquely overgrown and he was thin and malnourished. Flynn has been in a few foster homes, getting used to being around people, kids, and other horses. He was still a stud when he came in, and even though he is now gelded, he still thinks he is "big man on campus". He does better with more dominant horse that he can't push around. Flynn has been in training with a skilled horsewoman a few hours from Lubbock. And he has learned so much with her! He has a lot of energy under saddle and likes to go and move and do things. He isn't ready yet for young kids who are beginners or have limited riding skills. Due to his size, he needs to have a smaller sized rider. Flynn has come such a long way, and we are proud of the work he has accomplished. He is ready for someone to continue his under saddle training and give him a job. The woman who has been riding and working with Flynn says he enjoys being out riding through the mesquite and prefers that more that arena work. Flynn can still be reactive and very "watchy" so needs an owner with skill and confidence that will rub off on him.
