They say that it is the toughest horses that make us better. Jimmy is different than your average horse. He is not mean. He's not necessarily even scared. He just demands a close and trusted connection with humans before he'll trust them to be the leader. This home absolutely does exist and we know there are adopters out there who will appreciate and celebrate that feeling of accomplishment that comes from befriending this special little gelding.
We don't believe Jimmy is ever going to be ideal for riding. He's just not that type of guy. But he has many other tremendous qualities.
Jimmy is an excellent pasture pal for other horses. He doesn't mind being groomed and is fine to do some basic groundwork. He's always open to learning new things as long as you have the knowledge to teach him.
Jimmy is also eligible for our Golden Day Club Program, which offers an adopter the option to receive a tax receipt annually for his cost of care. You can learn more about Jimmy and that program by submitting an Adoption Interest Form :)
