Adoption Overview $800

Dundee - Training experience required

Dundee is a handsome, solidly built Kentucky Mountain horse with solid feet and plenty of bone to get him through many future adventures. He was collected as a free-roaming feral stallion in September of 2024 in the mountainous region of eastern Kentucky.

Dundee is currently with Money M Ranch in Lancaster, KY for training and has been castrated, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and started on hoof trimming. He remains a very cautious and watchy guy and would do best with experienced, advanced handlers still at this point. He is available for adoption to someone with ample training experience under their belt but would also be available for transfer to a partner organization to seek training opportunities elsewhere. He isn't overly jumpy or aggressive, just may require a slow and consistent approach for a while to see him through to the good boy that we know he can be in the future. If Dundee sounds right up your alley, please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or you can find our adoption application and other adoptable horses on our page here: https://www.kyhumane.org/adopt/adoptable-horses
