Thirteen

Thirteen came to the HSVC as an owner surrender after his previous owner could no longer afford his medical care. He is a 23-year-old Gelding Paint horse. Smart and handsome, Thirteen can be ridden with a saddle or bareback, and he is a great kids' horse. He will eventually need to get his shoes. Our boy is great in the washrack, respectful with his handler, and loads in the trailer to travel nicely.

Some ongoing maintenance and medical care is required for Thirteen due to navicular disease and metabolic support. For the navicular disease, he will need to take Equinox. Despite his medical issues, Thirteen doesn't let his setbacks stop him from trotting around the pasture. He is looking for an owner who will be mindful of his medical issues and will commit to proving lifetime support. In return he will give you his respect, love, and loyalty.
