15.2 plus hands. He last worked on 7/22/24 and retired with a left front nondisplaced sesamoid fracture on 8/13/24. He is currently on round pen turnout through December. Once roundpen turnout is complete, if trotting soundly, he may start slowly under saddle and small field turnout.
He was gelded on 11/4/24.
Irish is a good boy, with a typical 3 year old attitude. He is playful and nippy but not mean. He stands well for grooming and picking feet. We haven't seen any vices.
He stays quiet in his stall and enjoys looking out his door and window.
Irish has quickly become a barn favorite with his goofy personality. He is an energetic boy that, at times, needs kind reminders to check his energy level. He is quite adept at finding your phone while being groomed and enjoys playing with your hat/hair when picking his feet. He will certainly bring a smile to face and laugh to your heart.
Once fully rehabbed, he will be suitable for any flat type of discipline.
